As a nation were are becoming more
aware of the need to live in a more environmentally friendly
way. We are told of Co2 emissions, greenhouse gasses and
global warming, we are starting to see the ice caps and
glaciers shrink, and we have been affected by more severe
weather patterns with fires, floods, storms and droughts.
Each of us can contribute to reducing the rate at which we
consume the world’s natural resources. There is no longer an
endless supply of clean drinking water, food, and fuel such
as oil and gas. No one person or government can do this on
their own. We must each do our little bit to make a
difference.
The good news is that there are many different ways you can
help. This can be as simple as turning off your computer
when you leave the office, fixing a leaking tap or using the
council recycling bin, or it may be a bigger step such as
installing solar water heating or a
water tank.
You might want to plant your own vegetable garden, or you
might want to visit your local farmers' market.
EcoPages is here to provide you inspiration. EcoPages will
also give you some of the tools you need to implement your
lifestyle eco choices.
Thank you for making the choice to make a difference.
